Dr. Jon Engelby practices dentistry with a focus on prevention and providing quality care to all of his patients.
Education
Dr. Engelby graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University, where he earned the Rose Award for outstanding patient care.
Dr. Engelby believes in the importance of continuing education. While he is required to attend 24 hours of continuing education classes per year, he participates in over 100 hours per year. He also attends study clubs to advance his knowledge and hone his skills.

Dr. Engelby is a proud member of the Washington State Dental Association – Mt. Baker Chapter, Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the R.V. Tucker Gold Academy.
Outside the Office
In his free time, Dr. Engelby is usually on his boat, enjoying the beautiful San Juan Islands. One of Jon’s favorite pastimes is fishing, and his dental office in Sedro-Woolley features photos of Jon with some of his biggest catches.
